Compact vibration testing systems can be used for calibration of vibration meters, mechanical impedance measurement, and as excitation sources for vibration analysis. They are also suitable for vibration resistance testing of small, lightweight test specimens. The 512-D and 513-D vibration generators were the first in the world to use ceramic for the moving element, with the 513-D achieving high-frequency vibration up to 24 kHz.
